                          FAQ'S!

Q:  Why after cleaning my carpet for the first time, does it seem to get dirty much quicker?

A: Some carpet cleaners use products that can leave behind a residue. This can attract soil to the carpet more quickly. Our method ensures that this doesn't happen. Also, most new carpets have a natural stain and soil resistance which deteriorates with wear and tear. Stain protecting your carpets after cleaning is highly recommended.

Q: Why are there grey marks on my carpet all around the skirting boards and under the doors?

A: These are commonly known as draft marks. If there is a gap between the floor boards and the skirting boards, a draft from under the floor carries dirt up through the carpet, resulting in these unsightly grey marks. These are difficult to completely remove, as the dirt starts from the base of the carpet and works it's way up to the top.

Solution: Lift the carpet and seal all gaps with a suitable sealant and the problem should not reoccur. As for the grey marks under the doors, these are again draft marks caused by the draft under the door. We can easily remove these as the dirt is near to the surface.

DID YOU KNOW?

Many allergy sufferers remove their carpets from their homes and install hard floors only to find that they still have a problem with dust. There is no where for the dust to cling to, so it settles onto the hard floor surface, only to become airbourne as soon as there is a draft .

It is fact, that a good quality wool based carpet absorbs pollution in the air and holds onto dust, therefore acting like an air filter.

As long as this filter is cleaned on a regular basis, you can enjoy good air quality in your home.
